We offer accommodation in the center of Renaissance Slavonice, almost in the heart of Czech Canada.

Czech Canada is a Czech landscape area and a tourist destination located on the border of southern Bohemia and western Moravia at their triple border with Lower Austria, roughly between Slavonice, Nova Bystřice and Kunžak.

In 1994, the Czech Canada Nature Park (283 km²) was declared on its territory.

The symbol and dominant feature of the area is the extensive ruins of the Landštejn castle. Also enjoying popularity are the Renaissance historical center of Slavonice and the adjacent museum of Czechoslovak fortifications, the ruins of the defunct medieval village of Pfaffenschlag, the settlement of Maríž, famous for its ceramics, rocks and boulders in the forests around Valtínov, the narrow-gauge railway to Nová Bystřice, the monument to the fictional Czech genius Jára Cimrman near the village of Kaproun and other local natural and historical attractions.

Bicycle path Thayaunde

A suitable area for passionate cyclists.

The entire Thayarunde cycle path measures a total of 111 km, with 50 km on asphalt roads along former railway lines and 61 km on low-traffic roads. The section between Slavonice and the Austrian Dobersberg follows a former railway line and is 13 km long. Inline skaters can also ride along the bike path, but there are various bridges and braking, so it is not suitable for complete beginners.
